What is a POD we hear you ask?

This is where processes that have been developed in Metastorm BPM for existing customers are then taken from site, and re-engineered so that they can be installed into other organisations with little effort.

The main benifits for new customers is that the discovery and design phases have already been undertaken and so you can benifit from using the intillectual property already gained to get you off to a much faster start with your investment into Metastorm BPM.

The trick is to find a POD that is written to solve a particular process of interest to your company.  Then, with a gap analysis, you would only need to pay to customise the POD to suit your specific needs.  This can bring development time down considerably, it also brings best practice into the project and a solution already proved to work in other sites.  Overall it reduces the costs considerably.
